What's New
May-June 2010 Joining our existing line of hand-wound Tourous tourbillon watches is an exciting new model with automatic movement. The new model comes in a stainless steel case fitted with a silver Roman numeral dial, blued hour and minute hands, and an onion crown. The automatic features a bridge tourbillon and a 45 hour autonomy. The watch should be available for purchase sometime in July. Check back with us from time to time.
June 2009Due to overwhelming demand, we have run out of stock of the Open Dial and the White Dial tourbillon models. However, we do expect to be getting in a few around October. Please check back with us at that time.
August 18, 2008 Tourous is working on a new serial production tourbillon movement, the No. 003. The new hand-wound No. 003 movement with 177 parts and 21 jewels will have a 60 hours power reserve and feature a bridge tourbillon. The stunning tourbillon is visible under a guilloche dial through a circular aperture at 6 o'clock with the time display at 12 o'clock. No. 003 beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour and is decorated completely by hand. We expect to be getting in an initial quantity of 3 next month.
Oct. 20, 2007For the many that have inquired about the availability of the 5 Day Power Reserve model, this model is still in the production phase. Unfortunately, we are experiencing some production delays with an Italian case manufacturer. We expect the watch to be available for purchase at the end of this year. The case will only be available in 18K yellow gold. You may check back with us from time to time.
Feb. 17, 2007 We're happy to announce that most of our watches have now been restocked and ready for purchase. Sorry for the delay.
Feb. 11, 2007 We apologize to our potential customers that most of our watches are out of stock at this time due to high demand. Please understand that because Tourous watches are manufactured in batches (each taking approximately 2-3 months to manufacture) that when a batch comes in, it is advisable that purchase be made soon if there is interest in a particular piece. The wait time for the next batch to come in will be approximately 2-3 months after the first batch came in.
